CHOOSE YOUR COLOURS
Mother Nature is the best inspiration for colour. Select exquisite colour combinations for your planters and pots with our advice.
INCIDENCE – PLAY WITH SHADOWS
Is your WALFiLii planter in a shady area? Then opt for light hues such as white, lavender or yellow.
Do you want to put dark-coloured plants in a shady spot? Surround them with plants in lighter colours to illuminate them.
Pastel colours often appear faded in a sunny spot. Choose bright plants in striking colours such as vivid red and yellow or deep blue.
HARMONY – COLOURFUL UNITY
Harmonic colour combinations create harmony and calm, while adding a colourful touch to your garden or patio.
COMPLEMENTARY – CONTRAST AND VITALITY
Combine contrasting colours to intensify and make each other pop. Great combinations are purple and yellow, orange and blue, or green and red.
MONOCHROMES – ENERGISE WITH TEXTURE
A monochromatic flowerpot is filled with plants in the same colour, with variations in lightness and saturation. By using different shades, leaves and textures, the result will be visually appealing and balanced – the height of elegance.
Warm tones such as red, orange and yellow appear closer, while their cool counterparts –blue, purple, silver and white – do exactly the opposite: they visually recede.
WHITE GOES WITH EVERYTHING
White flowers and plants enhance all other colours. Use them for transition between stronger hues that would otherwise be too loud.
